Effect on public record disclosures


ORS 659A.200 (Definitions for ORS 659A.200 to 659A.224) to 659A.224 (Short title) are not intended to:

(1)

Allow disclosure of records exempt from disclosure except as provided in ORS 192.338 (Exempt and nonexempt public record to be separated), 192.345 (Public records conditionally exempt from disclosure) and 192.355 (Public records exempt from disclosure).

(2)

Prevent public employers from prohibiting employee disclosure of information of an advisory nature to the extent that it covers other than purely factual materials and is preliminary to any final agency determination of policy or action. [Formerly 659.520]
