Designating Restrictions on Political Campaigning by Public Employees

In addition to, and not in lieu of, any other election processes contained in ORS Chapters 246 through 260 and OAR Chapter 165, the Secretary of State adopts the manual Restrictions on Political Campaigning by Public Employees, ORS 260.432 (Solicitation of public employees) revised 01⁄2016. This manual provides guidance on ORS 260.432 (Solicitation of public employees) and informs the public of permissible and impermissible activities by public employees.
