Crime Category 9 — Controlled Substance and Aggravated Drug Offenses


(1) ORS 164.342 (Arson incident to the manufacture of a controlled substance in the first degree) – ARSON INCIDENT TO THE MANUFACTURE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE I – (A): If offense did not represent a threat of serious physical injury (CC 10) and the economic loss is greater than $50,000; otherwise CC 8 or 7.
(2) ORS 475.908 (Causing another person to ingest a controlled substance)(2) CAUSING ANOTHER TO INGEST A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Causing Another to Ingest a Controlled Substance shall be ranked at Crime Category 9 if the act is done with the intent to commit or facilitate a crime of violence.
(3) ORS 475.910 (Application of controlled substance to the body of another person)(1) UNLAWFUL ADMINISTRATION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (A): Unlawful Administration of a Controlled Substance shall be ranked at Crime Category 9 when the substance is a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
