Training for Operators of Breath Test Equipment


(1)

The Oregon State Police, or instructors approved by the Oregon State Police will provide a course of instruction as provided in ORS 813.160 (Methods of conducting chemical analyses).

(2)

Upon completion of the course of instruction, a written examination will be given and a passing grade of 80 percent or above will be required. Each officer or technician obtaining a passing grade will be issued a permit by the Oregon State Police stating the method and equipment the officer or technician is qualified to operate.
