OAR 259-070-0005

The following definitions are adopted in addition to the definitions provided in ORS 243.954 (Definitions for ORS 243.954 to 243.974):


“Board” means the Public Safety Memorial Fund Board.


“Department” means the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.


“Final Order of Eligibility” means the final order issued by the Department stating the Board’s determination on whether or not the public safety officer suffered a qualifying death or disability. The final order of eligibility becomes the established basis for eligibility when the Board makes determinations for discretionary benefit awards pursuant to ORS 243.956 (Eligibility for benefits from fund) and OAR 259-070-0020 (Discretionary Benefits).


“Fund” means the Public Safety Memorial Fund.
