Applicability of the Rule

(1)

All employees who supervise or work around offenders shall be thoroughly familiar with the departmental procedures of this rule for guidance and direction in use of force incidents.

(2)

If there is any question about specific equipment, procedures, etc., in a use of force situation, an employee shall be directed by the location of the situation, rather than by distinctions concerning where he/she is duty stationed.
