Training


In order to receive certification in radiological safety training from the Oregon State Public Health Division a person must satisfactorily complete the authorized exam administered by an authorized Public Health Division representative. A county will receive certification of training after it has qualified two Regional Radiological Technical Assistants, and completed a radioactive/hazardous materials emergency response exercise as defined in these rules. An “emergency services agency,” as defined in ORS 401.025 (Definitions for ORS chapter 401), will receive certification of training after it has qualified one Radiological Monitor per duty shift.
