Policy

The Commission finds and declares Indirect Sources to be air contamination sources as defined in ORS 468A.005 (Definitions for air pollution laws). The Commission further finds and declares that the regulation of Indirect Sources is necessary to control the concentration of air contaminants which result from Motor Vehicle Trips and/or Aircraft Operations associated with the use of Indirect Sources.
