Applicability and Purpose

(1)

Applicability. These rules apply to the certification of all workers’ compensation claims examiners on or after the effective date of these rules.

(2)

Purpose. The purpose of these rules is to establish standards for the certification of workers’ compensation claims examiners under ORS chapter 656.

(3)

Director’s discretion. The director may waive any procedural rule as justice requires, unless otherwise obligated by statute.
