Requirement to Live with a Caretaker or Caretaker Relative


(1)

Except as provided otherwise in OAR 461-135-1200 (Specific Requirements; TA-DVS), to be eligible for the TANF program, a dependent child (see OAR 461-001-0000 (Definitions for Chapter 461)) must live with a caretaker relative (see OAR 461-001-0000 (Definitions for Chapter 461)). Documentary evidence is required to show that an individual is the father of a dependent child.

(2)

To be eligible for the EA program, a child must either live with a caretaker relative or have lived with a caretaker relative within the last six months.

(3)

To be eligible for the ERDC program, a child must live with a caretaker (see OAR 461-001-0000 (Definitions for Chapter 461)).
