Purpose

These rules apply to the review of soils reports that propose to change the soil class, soil rating or other soil designations on a specific lot or parcel pursuant to ORS 215.710 (High-value farmland description for ORS 215.705)(5)(b). The department’s review decision does not itself authorize a dwelling or any other development.
