Contracts for Geoscientific Surveys and Analysis

(1)

Prior to entering into an agreement authorized under ORS 516.035 (Powers of department)(6), the State Geologist shall consider whether the scope of the agreement is consistent with the department’s mission statement and applicable objectives of the strategic plan and the extent to which the agreement will benefit the citizens of Oregon.

(2)

The State Geologist shall report annually to the Governing Board on the number and dollar value of agreements that were executed under the authority of ORS 516.035 (Powers of department)(6).
