OAR 734-079-0005
Scope and Purpose

A combination of vehicles consisting of a log truck and pole trailer equipped for self loading and transporting logs may operate with a permit allowing the weight provisions of ORS 818.210 (Limits on authority to issue variance permit)(3) only if:

(1)

The combination does not exceed the maximum allowable length limitations established in OAR chapter 734, division 71, as indicated on Group Map 1. Group Map 1, dated January 2005, available from the Over-Dimension Permit Unit, is by reference made a part of this rule; and

(2)

The combination meets any other restrictions that may be imposed pursuant to ORS Chapter 818 (Vehicle Limits).
