Seat Belt Assemblies and Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages


The Transportation Safety Division of the Oregon Department of Transportation (Transportation Safety) adopts:

Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Number 208, Occupant Crash Protection in Passenger Cars, Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles, Trucks and Buses regarding location and type of seat belts to be used in motor vehicles. This standard is as found in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49, Part 571.

FMVSS Number 209, Seat Belt Assemblies regarding seat belt assemblies used in motor vehicles. This standard is as found in the Code of Federal Regulation, Title 49, Part 571.

FMVSS Number 210, Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages, regarding anchorages used with seat belt assemblies in motor vehicles. This standard is as found in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49, Part 571.
