Notice of Intent to Take Action

Except as provided under authority of ORS 701.098 (Grounds for discipline)(4), if the agency intends to revoke or suspend a license, or assess a civil penalty, it shall issue and serve on the respondent a notice of intent to take an action, giving the opportunity for hearing. For cases the agency determines as potentially complex, unique or otherwise significant, the notice may include the statement that an answer to the assertions or charges will be required.
