Lapse in License — Continuing Education for Commercial Contractors

If a license lapses and a contractor applies for renewal as provided in ORS 701.063 (Term of license)(4) and OAR 812-003-0300 (Consequence of Lapse in License), the contractor must satisfy the commercial continuing education requirements of OAR 812-020-0065 (Minimum Requirements — Continuing Education for Commercial Contractors) and 812-020-0070 (Certification of Hours — Continuing Education for Commercial Contractors). The contractor may satisfy the requirement by commercial continuing education completed during the lapse period.
