Definitions


Terms used throughout this division (OAR 813-115) may be defined in Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) or in the OHCS General Definitions (OAR 813-005-0005 (General Definitions)). Terms used within this division observe those definitions, except as defined below:

(1)

“Affordability restriction” is as defined in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(1).

(2)

“Contract” is as defined in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(2).

(3)

“Designee” means a person or entity, appointed by OHCS through a written agreement, who acts as a qualified purchaser of the participating property on OHCS’ behalf.

(4)

“Local government” is as defined in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(3).

(5)

“Participating property” is as defined in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(4).

(6)

“Property” as used within the definition of “participating property” in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(4) means a multifamily rental housing development, which includes one or more buildings, may have an associated common area, and may be located on a consolidated or scattered site.

(7)

“Property owner” or “Owner” is as defined in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(4).

(8)

“Publicly supported housing” is as defined in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(6).

“Qualified purchaser” is as defined in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(7).

“Third party offeror” or “Third party” is as defined in ORS 456.250 (Definitions for ORS 456.250 to 456.265)(8).
