Acquisition of Certain Persons Considered to Be Insurers


(1)

If the person being acquired is considered to be a “domestic insurer” solely because of the definition of “domestic insurer” in ORS 732.518 (Definitions for ORS 732.517 to 732.546), the name of the domestic insurer on the cover page shall be indicated as follows: “ABC Insurance Company, a subsidiary of XYZ Holding Company.”

When a person who is considered to be a “domestic insurer” solely because of the definition of “domestic insurer” in ORS 732.518 (Definitions for ORS 732.517 to 732.546), is being acquired, references to “the insurer” contained in Form A shall refer to both the domestic subsidiary insurer and the person being acquired.
