The Formulary Council has approved the current American Hospital Formulary Service Pharmacologic-Therapeutic Classification. This listing does not supersede the education and training requirement established in 850-060-0212 (Education Requirements for Injections/ IV Chelation Therapy) for administration of IV agents or the exclusions listed in 850-060-0223 (Formulary Compendium Exclusions) The Formulary Council may consider new agents, substances and pharmacologic-therapeutic classifications for addition to this list.
