Enrollment in a Qualified Health Plan

A COFA applicant “[e]nrolls in a qualified health plan” as used in Oregon Laws 2016, Chapter 94, Section 3(1)(c) if the applicant:

(1)

Submits a complete application described in 45 CFR 155.405 to the relevant federal authority;

(2)

Selects a qualified health plan described in 45 CFR 156.420(a)(1);

(3)

Is eligible for coverage under the qualified health plan and reasonably expects to remain eligible for the entirety of the applicable plan year;

(4)

Is issued coverage under the qualified health plan; and

(5)

Elects to apply the maximum premium assistance amount described in 26 USC 36B(b)(2) to the qualified health plan monthly premium.
