ORS 186.510
Oregon-Washington Columbia River Boundary Compact adopted

The Legislative Assembly of the State of Oregon hereby ratifies the Oregon-Washington Columbia River Boundary Compact set forth in ORS 186.520 (Compact provisions), and the provisions of such compact hereby are declared to be the law of this state upon such compact becoming operative as provided in Article III of the compact. [1957 c.94 §1]

Use of mid-channel of Columbia River as boundary for salmon fishing purposes is proper. U.S. v. Crookshanks, 441 F Supp 268 (1978)

Where Oregon Admission Act granted Oregon and Washington concurrent jurisdiction for offenses occurring on bridges that span Columbia River, state did not have to prove venue on conviction of defendant for driving under influence of intoxicants when stopped on bridge spanning Columbia River. State v. Nearing, 99 Or App 724, 784 P2d 121 (1989), Sup Ct review denied
