ORS 657B.015
Benefit eligibility
(1)
An eligible employee who:(a)
During the base year or alternate base year, as applicable, contributes to the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund established under ORS 657B.430 (Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund) in accordance with ORS 657B.150 (Contributions); and(b)
Submits a claim for benefits in accordance with the requirements under ORS 657B.090 (Claim for benefits);(2)
A self-employed individual who:(a)
Elects coverage under ORS 657B.130 (Elective coverage for certain individuals); and(b)
During the base year or alternate base year, as applicable, contributes to the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund established under ORS 657B.430 (Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund) an amount determined by the Director of the Employment Department under ORS 657B.150 (Contributions); or(3)
An employee of a tribal government, if:(a)
The tribal government elects coverage for its employees under ORS 657B.130 (Elective coverage for certain individuals); and(b)
During the base year or alternate base year, as applicable, the employee and tribal government contribute to the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund established under ORS 657B.430 (Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund) an amount determined by the director under ORS 657B.150 (Contributions).
