Termination of a Special Use Lease, License or Short Term Access Authorization For Default

(1)

If the holder of a special use authorization fails to comply with these rules or the terms and conditions of the authorization, or otherwise violates laws governing their use of the authorized area, the Department will notify the holder of the authorization in writing of the default and demand correction within a specified time frame.

(2)

If the holder of a special use authorization fails to correct the default within the time frame specified, the Department may:

(a)

Modify or terminate the authorization; and

(b)

Request the Attorney General to take appropriate legal action against the holder of the authorization.
