Payment of Prizes; Ticket Validation Requirements; Time

(1)

Payment: Except as otherwise provided herein, prize payments must be claimed, and are made, in accordance with the provisions of OAR 177-070-0025 (Payment of Prizes).

(2)

Ticket Validation: To be a valid ticket and eligible to receive a prize, a ticket must:

(a)

Be validated in accordance with the provisions of OAR 177-070-0035 (Validation Requirements); and

(b)

Be a winner under OAR 177-090-0055 (Determination of Winners).

(3)

Time: A ticket with a winning event selection for the 3 of 3 and 4 of 4 prize categories may be validated and payable to a winner the day following the last event on the ticket. Other prizes are parimutuel and may be validated and payable on the day following the end of the play week when the Lottery’s central computer system is activated for that day.

(4)

Limits: All prizes must be claimed within one year from the end of the play week in which the winning event occurred.
