Representatives


(1) A patient has the right to have a representative, as defined in OAR 309-118-0005 (Definitions), to assist them in the grievance process. Another patient may not act as the patient’s representative for the grievance process.
(2) At any level of the grievance process, if the patient and the representative disagree about the grievance, the patient’s grievance will be addressed, except where the representative is the patient’s legal guardian and has legal authority to make decisions on behalf of the patient.
