Policies

(1)

The State places a high priority on reducing toxic substances use and hazardous waste whenever technically and economically practicable as described in ORS 465.006 (Policy).

(2)

The Department will attempt to coordinate with universities and other state and federal toxics use and hazardous waste programs, emphasizing data and information exchange, training programs, and technology transfer.
