Planning and Notification

Toxics users must:

(1)

Develop and implement a reduction plan or an environmental management system according to ORS 465.015 (Toxics use and hazardous waste reduction plan required) that includes the toxic substances and hazardous wastes specified in 465.015 (Toxics use and hazardous waste reduction plan required)(4). Toxics users that have already met the requirements in this subsection must also meet the requirements in subsections (2), (3) and (4).

(2)

Notify the Department after completing a reduction plan or environmental management system following ORS 465.015 (Toxics use and hazardous waste reduction plan required)(1) and 465.018 (Notification of Department of Environmental Quality upon completion of plan or system)(1);

(3)

Maintain the reduction plan or environmental management system on site as provided in ORS 465.015 (Toxics use and hazardous waste reduction plan required)(6); and

(4)

Update the reduction plan or environmental management system to ensure it meets the requirements in ORS 465.015 (Toxics use and hazardous waste reduction plan required)(4), 465.015 (Toxics use and hazardous waste reduction plan required)(5) and 465.015 (Toxics use and hazardous waste reduction plan required)(7).
