Material Changes


A licensee must make written notification to the director if there is a material change to any information the licensee previously filed with the director.


A material change includes the following:


Change to or a new item required to be disclosed under OAR 441-755-0100 (Initial Application)(6);


Change in form of ownership not resulting in a change of control;


Change of address of the principal place of business;


Discontinuing check-cashing activity at a licensed location;


Change in fees charged;


Identifying a significant error in the data provided in an annual report;


Moving required records to a new location.


Written notification must include the updated or corrected information, may be made by in-person delivery, mail or fax, and must be made within 30 calendar days of the occurrence of the material change.
