Application and Selection

(1)

When funds are available, the Commission will provide application materials and information about the deadlines and selection process to interested individuals who have provided their names and contact information to the Commission and at the appropriate agency website.

(2)

To be eligible to participate in this program a nurse educator employed by an Oregon nursing school shall submit an application to the Commission.

(3)

Applicants selected for participation in this program shall sign an agreement with the Commission which sets forth the terms which the applicant must meet in order to qualify for benefits under this program.

(4)

For purposes of selection, a selection committee, consisting of a representative each from the Oregon State Board of Nursing, Oregon Center for Nursing and other appropriate professional organizations will select participants annually.
