Definitions

The following definitions shall apply in OAR 678-030-0025 (Definitions) to 678-030-0030 (Term Limits).

(1)

“Grower member” means a person who has been actually engaged in growing wheat in this state for the five year period immediately prior to being appointed to the commission.

(2)

“Handler member” means a person engaged in the handling or processing of wheat produced in Oregon and who has an active interest in the positive economic development of the wheat industry.

(3)

“Public member” means a person who is not associated with the production or handling of wheat and who has an active interest in the positive economic development of the wheat industry.
