Applicability

These rules apply to the new construction of one or more rental housing units receiving development subsidies from the Department as described in ORS 456.508 (Definitions for ORS 456.510 and 456.513)(7). Covered housing units include Department subsidized townhouses as well as other forms of rental housing. These rules also apply to group homes. These rules do not apply to homeownership housing, to farmworker housing located on a farm or to the acquisition, alteration, renovation or remodeling of existing structures. The visitability requirements are not the same as federal, or state accessibility or adaptability requirements.
