Purpose and Applicability
These rules establish the Oregon Health Authority (Authority) policy of non-discrimination and a process for reporting and investigating complaints of discrimination based on protected class, in accordance with state and federal law, including but not limited to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI), the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA as amended), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
These rules do not apply when the:
Authority’s Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) has determined that the report of discrimination does not involve an allegation of discrimination based on protected class status.
Allegation of discrimination based on protected class status is against an entity other than the Authority or an Authority contractor or subcontractor.
