Civil penalties

(1)

In addition to any other penalty provided by law, the Director of the Oregon Department of Aviation may impose a civil penalty not to exceed $2,500 for each violation of ORS 836.505 (Designation of landing places on public lands) or any rule adopted or order issued under ORS 836.505 (Designation of landing places on public lands).

(2)

The director shall impose civil penalties under this section in the manner provided in ORS 183.745 (Civil penalty procedures).

(3)

All penalties recovered by the Oregon Department of Aviation under this section shall be paid into the State Treasury and deposited to the credit of the State Aviation Account. Such moneys shall be used by the department for the purpose of carrying out ORS 836.505 (Designation of landing places on public lands). [2019 c.226 §1]
