Training and Orientation

(1)

Approved volunteer training is required for all volunteers.

(2)

Functional unit orientation will be provided by the department supervisor or designee to whom the carded-volunteer has been assigned.

(3)

Facility orientation will be provided for those volunteering inside a correctional facility.

(4)

In-service training and other training may be offered periodically.
