Definitions

(1)

Cabinet: An executive group that provides oversight to OYA operations.

(2)

Offender: A person in the legal and physical custody of OYA, either in an OYA close custody facility or placed in the community under supervision; or a person in the legal custody of the Department of Corrections and the physical custody of OYA in an OYA close custody facility.

OYA: Oregon Youth Authority

(4)

OYA Research Committee (ORC): OYA committee comprised of OYA staff and external partners, overseen by the OYA Research Manager.
