Requirements for an Emergency School Nurse Certificate


(1)

An Emergency School Nurse Certificate may be issued when there are insufficient applicants in a region of the state. The emergency certificate is valid for one year and issued upon joint application from the employing school board or school superintendent.

(2)

An applicant under section (1) of this rule must hold a current registered nurse license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
