Criteria for Denial of Certification Based on Conviction for Crimes


An applicant for the initial Oregon certificate or for reinstatement of an Oregon certificate that has been lapsed for three years or more must submit to a fingerprint check. If the applicant has been convicted of any of the crimes listed in ORS 342.143 (Issuance of licenses and registrations) or if the applicant has made a false statement about a conviction, the applicant shall be denied certification.
