Purpose

These rules implement the agricultural mediation programs provided in ORS 36.252 (Agricultural mediation services coordinated by State Department of Agriculture) – 268 (agricultural mediation services) and ORS 36.280 (Mediation of disputes related to interference with farming practices) – 283 (mediation of disputes related to farming practices) and describe the process for the mediation programs offered by the Department, including but not limited to: eligibility for programs, application process, selection of mediation service providers for the programs, fees, methods of advertising the availability of mediation services and data collection.
