Purpose and Trust Responsibilities


(1)

Forest Resource Trust programs provide financial, technical and related assistance to nonindustrial private and other qualified private and local government Forestland owners to establish Forest Stands and improve management of Forestlands for Timber production, fish and wildlife, water quality and other environmental purposes.

(2)

The Board of Forestry is responsible for the management of the Forest Resource Trust program. The State Forester is responsible for implementing the Trust program and policies adopted by the Board of Forestry.
