Eligibility Check and Results Entry


(1) Prior to administering the drive test, the third party examiner must use DMV’s website, in accordance with OAR 735-018-0020 (General Provisions), to verify the drive test applicant meets all requirements set forth in OAR 735-061-0420 (When an Applicant May Use Class C Third Party Testing and General Provisions).
(2) If the applicant does not meet qualifications for testing as set forth in OAR 735-061-0420 (When an Applicant May Use Class C Third Party Testing and General Provisions), the third party examiner must refer the applicant to DMV and must not conduct the drive test.
(3) If the applicant meets qualifications for testing as set forth in OAR 735-061-0420 (When an Applicant May Use Class C Third Party Testing and General Provisions), the third party examiner may administer the test.
(4) After completing the drive test, the third party examiner must:
(a) Provide the applicant with a receipt for the test;
(b) Enter the drive test results using electronic means determined by DMV within 24 hours of the completion of the test; and
(c) Comply with provisions set forth in OAR 735-018-0020 (General Provisions) for electronic transactions.
