Sanctions

DMV adopts the following matrix of sanctions for School Operator and Instructor violations. As used in this rule, an offense will be considered a second or subsequent offense if it occurred within three years from the date the Operator or Instructor was notified in writing of the occurrence of the same or a substantially similar offense in this or another jurisdiction. DMV will not sanction as a second or third/subsequent offense if more than three years have passed from the date of the previous violation for the same or similar offense. [Table not included.
