A defendant convicted in any criminal proceeding of conduct that gives rise to a cause of action under ORS 124.100 (Definitions for ORS 124), whether the conviction results from a plea or verdict, is estopped from denying the conduct for purposes of an action under ORS 124.100 (Definitions for ORS 124) to 124.140 (Estoppel based on criminal conviction).
