Effect of failure of petition circulator to certify signature sheet

If a signature sheet of a petition is not certified by the circulator as required under ORS 198.430 (Recall of officers of districts other than districts defined in ORS 255.012), 198.750 (Content of petition proposing formation or change of organization), 221.031 (Petition to incorporate), 248.008 (Qualification as minor political party), 249.061 (One candidate per petition), 249.740 (Certificates of nomination made by individual electors), 249.865 (Filing prospective petition), 250.045 (Prospective petition), 250.165 (Prospective petition), 250.265 (Prospective petition), 255.135 (Prospective petition), 261.115 (Contents of electors’ petition) and 545.025 (Purposes of irrigation district), signatures contained on the signature sheet may not be counted for purposes of determining whether the petition contains the required number of signatures of electors.
