Livestock Trespass

(1)

Any unauthorized livestock found on state land will be considered in trespass.

(2)

The Department will identify and notify the owner of all livestock found in trespass.

(3)

The Department may pursue all appropriate legal remedies to assure that the Department is fairly compensated by the livestock owner for the impacts (including resource damages) of the trespassing livestock and that future trespass is deterred.
