Classes of Goods and Services
Pursuant to ORS 647.024 (Rules for classes of goods and services), the Secretary of State establishes the following classes of goods and services. Applications to register a trade or service mark must designate the code number for goods or services with which the mark is being used:
Chemical Products used in industry;
Artificial and Synthetic Resins;
Plastics in the Form of Powders, Liquids or Paste;
Tanning and Adhesive Substances.
Paints, Varnishes, and Lacquers;
Coloring Matters and Natural Resins.
Laundry, Cleaning, and Polishing Substances;
Cleansing and Cosmetic Items;
Perfumery and Essential Oils.
Industrial Oils and Greases;
Lubricants and Absorbing Compositions;
Fuels and Illuminants.
Pharmaceutical, Veterinary and Sanitary Substances;
Infants’ and Invalids’ Foods;
Disinfectants and Weed Killers.
106: Metal and Articles Made from Metal and not Included in Other Classes.
Machines and Machine Tools;
Motors (Except for Land Vehicles);
Large Size Agricultural Implements;
108: Hand Tools and Cutlery.
Scientific, Nautical, Surveying and Electrical Apparatus and Instruments;
Photographic, Cinematographic, Optical, Lifesaving, and Teaching Apparatus;
Cash Registers and Calculating Machines.
110: Surgical, Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Instruments and Apparatus.
111: Installations for Lighting, Heating, Steam Generating, Cooking, Refrigerating, Drying, Ventilating, Water Supply and Sanitary Purposes.
113: Firearms, Ammunition, and Fireworks.
114: Precious Metals and Jewelry.
115: Musical Instruments and Supplies; Phonographs, Recording Tapes, Records, and Tape Recorders.
Paper Articles and Bookbinding Materials;
Printed Matter, Photographs and Stationery;
Artists’ Materials and Paint Brushes;
Instructional and Teaching Material.
Plastics in the Form of Sheets, Blocks and Rods;
Packing or Insulating Materials;
Hose Pipes (Non-metallic).
Leather, Imitations and Articles Made from Both and Not Included in Other Classes;
Skins and Hides;
Travel Gear, Umbrellas and Walking Sticks;
Building and Road Materials;
Stone, Stone Products; Cement and Earthenware Pipes.
Furniture, Mirrors, Picture Frames;
Articles (not Included in Other Classes) of Wood, Wicker, Ivory, Shell;
Substitutes for all These Materials, or of Plastics.
Small Domestic Utensils and Containers;
Combs, Sponges and Brushes (Other than Paint Brushes);
Brush Making Materials;
Glassware, Porcelain and Earthenware, Not Included in Other Classes.
Ropes, String and Nets;
Canvas Products and Stuffing Materials.
