Board Products Industries (Veneer, Plywood, Particleboard, Hardboard): Testing and Monitoring


All source tests must be done using the DEQ Source Sampling Manual. [NOTE: The DEQ Source Sampling Manual is published with OAR 340-200-0035 (Reference Materials).]

Veneer dryers, wood particle dryers, fiber dryers and press/cooling vents must be tested using DEQ Method 7.

(2)

Air conveying systems must be tested using DEQ Method 8.

Fuel burning equipment must be tested using DEQ Method 5. When combusting wood fuel by itself or in combination with any other fuel, the emission results are corrected to 12% CO2. When combusting fuels other than wood, the emission results are corrected to 50% excess air.
