Customer Information and Disclosure: Responsibility of Employment Department Staff


(1)

Department staff must safeguard the confidentiality of information collected or obtained and disclose only information about the customer that is authorized by law or that is necessary to administer ORS Chapter 657 (Unemployment Insurance) and Chapter 657A.

(2)

Department staff and any other entities or individuals with access to Employment Department information are authorized to access confidential information only on a “need to know” basis, as needed to perform official duties.
