Temporary PDU Reductions for Renewal and Reinstatement of CTE Teaching Licenses

(1) To accommodate the restrictions occurring during the 2020-21 pandemic, and notwithstanding OAR 584-230-0020 (Preliminary CTE Teaching License)(5) and OAR 584-230-0045 (Five-Year CTE Teaching License)(6), educators applying to renew a license through ⁰⁶⁄₃₀/2026 must complete the required total number of PDUs minus 37 PDUs. Educators may apply this reduction one time only.

(2) Educators applying to reinstate a license through ⁰⁶⁄₃₀/2026 must complete the required total number of PDUs minus 37 PDUs under the renewal portion of reinstatement. This provision does not affect OAR 584-230-0110 (Reinstatement of CTE Teaching Licenses)(10) requirements.
