Any information that the Oregon Medical Board obtains pursuant to ORS 677.200 (Disciplinary procedure), 677.205 (Grounds for discipline) or 677.410 (Voluntary limitation of license) to 677.425 (Confidential information) is confidential as provided under ORS 676.175 (Complaints and investigations confidential).

Any person who reports or provides information to the board under ORS 677.205 (Grounds for discipline) and 677.410 (Voluntary limitation of license) to 677.425 (Confidential information) and who provides information in good faith shall not be subject to an action for civil damages as a result thereof. This section does not apply to administrative proceedings brought by Board against person who was subject of investigation or to information sought to be elicited from person unconnected with Board concerning manner in which he was contacted by Board investigators prior to filing complaint.
