Dental Pilot Projects: Application Review Process
(1)
The Authority shall review an application to determine if it is complete within 60 calendar days from the date the application was received.(a)
If an applicant does not provide all the information required, and the application is considered incomplete, then the Authority shall notify the applicant of the information that is missing and shall allow the applicant 30 calendar days to submit the missing information.(b)
If an applicant does not submit the missing information within the timeframe specified in the notice, then the application shall be rejected as incomplete. An applicant whose application is rejected as incomplete may reapply at any time.(2)
An application deemed complete will continue through a review process.(3)
The Authority may have individuals outside the Authority, including representatives of appropriate professional societies and licensing boards, review applications, but no individual who has contributed to or helped prepare an application will be permitted to conduct a review of that application.(4)
The Authority may request additional information from an applicant during the review process.(5)
Once the Authority completes an application review, a Notice of Intent to provisionally approve or deny an application will be provided to the applicant. The Notice will be sent to interested parties and will be posted for public comment for a period of 30 calendar days, along with a link to the application and other materials submitted by the applicant.
